custom built catamarans
We build custom designed power catamarans of all shapes and sizes from painted shells to finished vessels. All designs offer an excellent power to weight ratio providing economical motoring, comfort and speed. Hulls can be built in Duflex or Alloy.
Our sailing catamarans have proven to be among the fastest and driest vessels to be found. Built for cruising sailors with a need for making a fast passage, the internal space and head room have not been sacrificed. The end result is a light and airy sailing catamaran with good vision and easy handling. Generous under wing deck clearance ensures a comfortable passage.
We have a range of kitsets available for the home builder including everything you will need to complete the project. We are also agents for plans of vessels we have already built. We can help you through all stages of your build from kitset, painted shell and through to fit out stage.
Streamline Catamarans have built a number of commercial vessels including 3 of the whale watching fleet in Hervey Bay. Commercial Vessels are designed and built to Maritime standards according to survey requirements pertinent to each country.

IT'S ALL ABOUT CONSTRUCTION
DuFLEX Composite Panels were developed by Atl Composites to reduce construction time and optimise structural weight in the production of lightweight composite catamarans, transportation, architectural and industrial markets. Catamarans built from this material will save you fuel costs and make any repair work required simple without sacrificing strength or stability.

"We have just taken possession of the first Telos 40 Catamaran, designed by Andrew McDonald Smith and built by Streamline Catamarans. This was the first and of course from our perspective quite a big step. From start to completion, we have nothing but praise for the professionalism shown by Wayne Jones and his team. They were so great to work with and nothing was too much trouble. The boat has exceeded all expectations and not only looks good, but performs great as well. We can't wait to do our first big trip up the East Coast of Australia, hopefully within the next few months"

"At 52 years old, I have had many boats in my life, but none can compare with the weapons you build! I have taken this 9.2m catamaran over 50 miles out to sea and have been in situations on bar crossings where a boat of lesser ability would not have brought me home again. We fish far and wide, as well as enjoying day trips with the kids. We even take it up shallow creeks crabbing. The handling ability is second to none and their light weight is unreal. I now have 850 hours on it. We cruise at 25knots, still using the 140hp Suzuki Motorsin all weather ..unreal!
